Free Falling

It's finally happening! In just 11 short days, I will be able to cross yet another adventure off of my bucket list because... I'M GOING SKYDIVING!!! I've wanted to for a while now, and freefalling from approximately 13,000 feet at speeds of up to 120 mph is the perfect way to celebrate my BFF's birthday!

My new home to-be

No, I will not be living under a bridge ;)

Over the past year I have been debating all the possibilities of life after graduation. Most of these options included some kind of big change/move. I was considering all kinds of ideas: move back to Europe, experience the East coast, teach English as a second language in Asia or South America, join the Peace Corps... the possibilities were, and still are, endless! Alas, I have a clear path and plan for my future. Well, at least the next six months or so :)

My decision is the least drastic of the bunch, but it is a great fit for me. I am moving to San Francisco in July with my Irish bff who is flying over from the Emerald Isle. We will be spending four months living it up in the city that I love so much.

San Francisco, here we come! Hope the city can handle the Tobey/Rozzer duo!

Spring has Sprung

No wonder Spring is my favorite season! The sun in shining, the wind is blowing, the trees are blossoming and the people are smiling! I am, anyway :)

I am definitely taking advantage of this fabulous weather, spending as much time as I possibly can outside. Happy Spring!

Spring Break

I had to do something amazing for my last Spring break! A couple friends and I headed to Del Mar and San Diego, where we spent a week enjoying the Southern California sun!

I love road trips, and the eight hour drive was so much fun! We witnessed sun, rain and snow throughout the long drive.

We started in Del Mar, where we stayed with my friend's grandparents. We spent most of our time on or near the beach. And I learned to play bocce ball!

Then we headed to San Diego, where we stayed with some of my friend's family friends. We spent a full day at the well-known San Diego Zoo.

My favorites were the gorillas and koalas!

We spent one day at Mission Beach. We started the day off right with brunch and a champagne bucket for mimosas, yum!

We spent our final day at Sea World. We know somebody that knows somebody, so we got a few special privileges here.

Like feeding a capybara!

And petting a water monitor

and a hedgehog (I now want one)!

We also got to feed baby sea turtles.

Thanks to our hosts for the wonderful hospitality!

It was just the break I needed. Now, back to the grind. Seven weeks of school left and I'll be a college graduate!

Middle School Rose

One of my friends posted a few pictures on Facebook from way back when. I couldn't waste this opportunity to show you all little Rose :) So here we are... back in the year 2000? Oh the good ole middle school days!

My 23rd Birthday... one month later :)

Since I took a short break from blogging due to my hectic life schedule, I'm way behind on all my news and events. One that is definitely worthy of a post is my 23rd birthday, which I celebrated all week. The best part was the weekend after, when some of my favorites and I spent a day wine tasting.

The best picture ever:

The whole group! This would be a perfect picture if it wasn't for my stained wine teeth.

My oldest best friend, my newest best friend and my lifelong best friend were all there to join in with the birthday wine tasting festivities! Plus my mom :)

Thanks to everyone who made yet another birthday fabulous!
